Obverse 19. Repunched, broken B with the top serif missing and the lower serif doubled. LI closely spaced. 1 and 7 apart with the date usually weak. Pair of dentils opposite the throat are joined.

Reverse S.

Edge: Usually plain (IV, late). Chris Young reports one with edge II. Jim Young, Jr. reports one with edge V, diagonally reeded. I have not seen either of these.

Die states: I. Perfect die with no trace of the break above IC, A bulge develops from the joined dentils to the throat.

II. Break affecting parts of three dentils above IC,
