Obverse 12. Broken B which is usually weak. Rand y are low. Knob of 9 is weak. Corner of 7 almost a full millimeter from the drapery.
Reverse M. Heavily repunched F. AM touch. All berry stems are long. Wide fraction with the denominator skewed left and the numerator partly above the space between 00.
Fraction bar is very short with a die scratch into the right ribbon.
Edge: Plain (IV).
Die states: I. Perfect dies.
II. Reverse has double clash marks.

III. Reverse has a heavy straight crack from the rim through left ribbon, left stem, left side of bow, to C(E). Lighter crack from the numerator to ribbon near the knot. Heavy die injuries at the wreath: V-shaped above and left of C(E); straight, almost vertical, right of (N)E, engulfing the two inner and two outer leaves closest to this E.
IV. Advanced failures obliterate UNI, CE, and most of 100.
