Reverse HH. Type of 1799. Right pendant of (I)T is repunched. E(D) and E(S) are wide and normally formed. First 0 is low with the fraction bar longer than usual and placed too far right, apparently slanting minutely down to the right. Minute center dot.
Edge: Plain edge (PE).
Die states: I. Reverse clash marks from dentils between ERICA and rim.
II. Reverse clash marks from drapery below ES o.
III. Faint crack from base of T to the rim opposite the neck.
IV. Branch crack joins the two cracks below TY, forming a crude triangle. Clapp 33c-FFb.
V. Cracked from the rim through the left side of y to the brow. Reverse failure beginning above ICA. Clapp 33d-FFb.
VI. Cracked from rim to the throat, later extending across the neck and hair. Reverse crack beginning at IC,
VII. The crack of state VI extends to the base of B.
Heavy clash marks on both sides. Clapp 33e-FFc.
VIII. The crack of state VII is heavier. Rim break on I(C). Rim crumbling above CA. Clapp 33e-FFd.
