Die states: 1. Reverse cracked entirely around the legend, another from base of 1(00) to u, and a third joining the terminal leaves. Clapp 9-Ed.

II. Heavy obverse clash marks before the throat, fainter ones below u.

III. Cracked from rim opposite the neck down to end of the drapery.

IV. Faint crack through the tops of USE with another at bases of 17. Reverse crack at the terminal leaves now extends through the field to leaves below D s. Clapp 9b-Ed.

V. Cracked from low curl up through left field; bulge develops above it. The crack of state IV extends through the tops of RTY.

VI. Faint obverse crack from rim about 7:30 to that of state V. Clapp 9c-Ed.

VII. Rim break at end of the drapery. Clapp 9d-Ed. Equivalents: Doughty 120. Proskey 12. McGirk 3E through 3E3. Clapp 11. Sheldon 153. EAC 13. Encyclopedia 1719.
