Reverse D. S(T) is low. Repunched letters: U plainest inside left, (M)E plainest at base, and (C)A on both diagonals. Berries opposite (N)E and (N)T have shortest stems. Defect below T(E). Field chips near (E)S OF AM.
Edge: Plain edge (PE). This variety may exist with single-flange edge (SFE).
Die states: I. Light clash marks below the chin, none on the reverse.
II. Vertical striae and rust on the neck. Heavy clash marks on the reverse, from RTY, from final 0 to final A. The number of chips or rust pits gradually increase.
