Obverse 9.
Reverse P. Small wedge-shaped die chip atop the right end of the nearly horizontal section of the right ribbon. Left pendant of (S)T is repunched. Left foot of F is vestigial.
Edge: Plain edge (PE). This variety may exist with single-flange edge (SFE).
Die states: I. Heavy triple clash marks from the drapery at OF A, from the final 0 of date behind and partly left of O(F), and from UBERTY behind UN 100 and the right ribbon end.
II. Bulge at TAT, later extending through D STAT.

IV. Obverse cracks are heavier. Reverse clash marks from LIBERTY have faded out or have been polished away. Extra clash marks from the dentils above D sr. See Remarks.
