Reverse E. Left stem ends in a point. Short fraction bar. Berry opposite top of (N)T and minutely above.
Die states: I. The lump under the chin gradually increases through the next two varieties. Clash marks from dentils through IBER. Reverse clash marks from dentils at u through 100 to the right ribbon end. Two sets of clash marks from top of head at left stem, ribbon, fraction bar, and right ribbon to A. At least six sets of clash marks from profile in the wreath. Newcomb 4d-E.
II. Cracked from the rim through tops of NITE, at first faint, later plain, eventually heavy. Newcomb 4d-Eb.
III. Cracked from the rim below left ribbon through top of u to the rim above N joining the crack of state II.
Extremely rare. Discovered by Fred H. Borcherdt.
