Die states: 1. Traces of clash marks above the ribbon and below the chin, these being remnants of more extensive clash marks polished off the die. Newcomb 9-K.

II. Extra obverse clash marks near the ribbon. Cracked through the tops of ER, later extending through tops of MERI.

III. Cracked from the rim through tops of ST up to the rim between AT. Newcomb 9-Kb.

IV. Additional obverse clash marks. Rim break on ST, not quite touching A. Newcomb 9-Kc.
