PCGS Set Registry Update

Bolivia is a country that borders Chile and Peru and is on the western side of South America as the fifth-largest nation on the continent. The Spanish Conquistadors were colonizing many countries in the early 16th century. Bolivia was one of the countries that Spain added to its growing portfolio of territories. The name of the country is derived from a national hero of Venezuela known as Simon Bolivar, who was a leader during the Spanish-American wars of independence. Coinage of the late 18th century from Bolivia is difficult to obtain in pleasing condition and most notably those coins struck in gold. Pictured above is a gold 1798 4 Escudos, which is difficult to find in any condition. This coin is part of the Bolivia Gold 4 Escudos Basic Set, Circulation Strikes (1778-1808) for collectors to consider building.

Additional sets from various countries have been added, so please feel free to browse the PCGS Set Registry when you have a chance and you may find there is a set for almost anyone to build. The PCGS Set Registry offers many different sets from all over the world and specialty sets for advanced collectors. We appreciate your continued patronage!
