Obverse 4, Date is wider than obverse 5. In LIBERTY, B is close to the hair, E is farther, and R is farthest.

Reverse C. Large fraction and letters, as on 1803 reverse dies N, O, P, S, 1804 reverse A, and the die muled with the 1806 quarter dollar obverse. I is above Nand T. A is below M and touches it. Outer berry at E(D) is half buried in a leaf.

Die states: L New set of clash marks from leaves below the ribbon and chin, Reverse bulge between F A is faint in the earliest stages.

II. Bulge at UB, at first faint. Rim crumbling left of L (centering may not show it), this is at first barely noticeable, later a rim break extends beyond the dentils. Later with three faint sets of clash marks from the drapery below ES O.

III. Bulge has weakened LIB with a crack through the tops of LIBERTY. Severe multiple clash marks from leaves near the ribbon, face, and throat. Dentils are blurred above the bulge at F A. Rare.

Remarks: Left reverse border and UNITED are weak, resulting from die misalignment.
