The 1990 Mint State Gold Eagle has one of the lower mintages in the series. Making it one of the key dates in the Uncirculated Gold Eagle series. Most coins came in nice quality ranging from MS67-MS69 condition. Coins in perfect MS70 condition are almost unheard of and any coin without any imperfections for this issue is a diamond in the rough.
