The Blunt Rays 1785 Immune Columbia pattern is extremely rare, with only two examples known at present. The last time one of these appeared on the market was in 1988, when the Norweb Collection example sold for what now appears to be a bargain price of $22,000. This variety was struck with the same die used on the regular-issue 1783 and 1785 Nova Constellatio Coppers.
