The U.S. Mint officially released the $100 First Amendment to the United States Constitution Proof Platinum Eagle on March 03, 2022. The issue price for the coin, if purchased directly from the U.S. Mnt on the first day of sales, was $1,645. However, the price of the coin changed throughout the year, depending on the spot price of silver.
The First Amendment Platinum Eagle theme was initially introduced in 2021 and it will end in 2025. Therefore, it will be featured on American Platinum Eagles for 5 years.
