Jaime Hernandez:

The $50 2020-W Proof Gold Eagle with the V75 Privy Mark was struck to mark the 75th Anniversary of the End of World War II. The coins had a limited mintage of 1,945 total coins struck. This mintage figure is to represent the date of 1945, or the end of World War II.

The V75 privy mark is shaped like the Rainbow Pool, which is located at West Potomac Park, in Washington, D.C.
The $50 2020-W Proof Gold Eagles with the V75 Privy Mark originally went on sale on the U.S. Mint website, on November 05, 2020. The original Mint issue price for each coin was set at $2,600. The coins were sold out, about 7 minutes after they went on sale.
