The Lions Clubs International celebrated its 100th Anniversary of community service on June 07, 2017. To celebrate this event, on January 18, 2017 the United States Mint struck a 2017-P Uncirculated Lions Club Silver Dollar. It also stuck a Proof version of this same coin.
The 2017-P Uncirculated Lions Clubs International Silver Dollar had an introductory issue price of $46.95 beginning January 18, 2017 until February 21, 2017. After February 21, 2017, the regular issue price was set at $51.95 if purchased directly from the U.S. Mint.
