The 2012-D Chester Arthur Presidential Dollar was officially released on April 05, 2012. The coins were not released into circulation due to the Federal Reserve's large inventory of unwanted Dollar coins from banks and the public. Therefore, the 2012--D Chester Presidential Dollars were only sold to collectors in 25 coin rolls, 250 coin boxes and 500 coin bags.
