The 2010 Jane Pierce Proof Spouse coins originally went on sale on June 03, 2010, at 12:00 p.m. noon (E.T.). The original Mint issue price was set at $854 for each coin. Then on March 04, 2011, the U.S. Mint posted a notice on their website indicating that the coins were sold out.
Coins submitted to PCGS within the first 30 days of release qualified to receive a special First Strike designation on the PCGS holder.
