There were no 2009-W $100 Uncirculated Platinum Eagles produced this year.
The Mint was unable to keep up with the demand for bullion related products. Therefore, the Mint canceled the production of the $10, $25, $50 and $100 Uncirculated Platinum Eagles this year.
For Proof Platinum Eagles, the Mint canceled the production of the $10, $25 and $50 coins.
The $100 Proof Platinum Eagles were the only Platinum coins struck by the U.S. Mint, in the year 2009.
