Numismatic Scrapbook. Published by Hewitt Brothers, Niles, Illinois. This monthly journal is particularly valuable for the information it contains for commemorative issues from the 1930s through the end of the Carver-Washington issues in 1954 and for dealer advertisements.
Numismatist, The Official journal of the American Numismatic Association, published at various locations over the years, currently at Colorado Springs, Colorado. Issues from 1892 to date are particularly valuable concerning the advertising, publicity, and collector reception of various commemorative coins and the dealer advertisements featuring them. The issues of 1935- 1939 in particular furnish a fascinating insight to the rise and fall of commemoratives during that watershed era.
