PCGS Set Registry Update

Aviation was born in the United States by two passionate brothers named Orville and Wilbur Wright who owned a bicycle shop in Dayton, Ohio. They were tinkering with the idea of manned flight at the beginning of the 20th century. In 1903, they attempted their first flight in the town of Kitty Hawk, North Carolina, and successfully flew a plane named the Wright Flyer. Though the plane never flew again, its only flight inspired the brothers to refine their designs, and their ideas led to the world of aviation as we know it today. Israel has issued commemorative coinage for many years. In 1972, Israel struck the 10 Lirot denomination which celebrated the 24th anniversary of the nation's independence, and it depicts a jet plane. The silver coin shown above is part of the 1972 Israel Year Set listed for our members to consider building.

Additional sets from various countries have been added, so please feel free to browse the PCGS Set Registry when you have a chance and you may find there is a set for almost anyone to build.
