1913 5C Type 1 PR66 PCGS #3988

Another terrific PR buffalo. This coin was well worth the wait! This is a ridiculously clean GEM. We used a strong glass and looked all over and found ZERO imperfections. The luster is above average. The matte texture and the thick rims stand out. Both sides are a GEM original nickel color. All of the details are sharply struck. The eye appeal is excellent! PCGS 136, NGC 102, CAC 47. Do NOT be fooled by the pop reports. We set our to build a customer a PCGS CAC PR66 set. It took us a year. It was just we were picky, the coins did not show up anywhere. The last auction record for a PCGS CAC piece was $5,520.00 11/24. However in 08/24 one sold for $6,000.00. The current Collectors Universe value is $6,500.00. Legend CAC verified

VERY HIGH END! FLAWLESS Golden iridescent perimeter with light blue iridescent center. FLAWLESS surfaces are a total delight to see. We used a strong glass and looked all over. The Matte surfaces stand out nicely too. A bold glowing luster beams from all over. Both sides are a nickel color with soft original gold highlights. There are NO spots. All of the details are exceptionally struck. The eye appeal is tremendous! PCGS 78, NGC 37, CAC 37. Legend CAC

1936 5C Brilliant PR66 PCGS #3995

1936 5C Type Two--Brilliant Finish PR66 PCGS. CAC. The depth of mirroring in the fields is not necessarily the focus on this coin. Rather the primary focal point is the lovely pale rose toning in the centers and peripheral powder-blue color. Each side looks to be carbon-free. Watery Mirrors that roll like mercury and iridescent neon sky blue centering into mauve on obverse. The reverse starts at rim with album toning golden yellow centering to neon sky blue with bullseye center light purple. Outstanding eye appeal! You can stare at it in hand all day and wish all coins looked like this! Eye Candy! Old Blue Label. High End and technically under graded. Looks like it should be in a Proof 68 holder.
