Stunning rainbow toner! Lovely pastel rainbow color on both sides of this gem Matte Proof nickel accentuate the superb surface quality. Stunning eye appeal this low mintage coin possesses. Wholly original iridescence cascades across pristine surfaces. Shades of pink, orange, gold, sea green, blue and violet blend together to form a delicate rainbow on both sides that allows the natural incandescence of this specimen to beam through. Superbly stuck with crisp details. PCGS 155, NGC 129, CAC 53. Listed in the PCGS price guide at $2,350 and CAC price guide at $2,730. Verified CAC

The 1914 Proof Buffalo Nickel has the third lowest mintage in the series. Just under 1,300 examples were struck. Overall few Proof Buffalo Nickels were produced since they were only struck for six years, therefore, making them scarce overall. Examples up to about PR67 condition appear in the market regularly that most collectors can find one with minimal efforts. In PR68 condition it is a different story, as few examples exist. It make take many years before one appears in the market, so collectors cannot be to picky when it comes to finding a PR68 example.
