About This Set:
Even though my favorite issues of the United States Mint are Indian Cents, Draped Bust Quarters are right up there! What's interesting is they never caught my eye in gem uncirculated or even in AU58 which has always been a grade I tend to dwell on, but when I first held a well-worn 1805 Draped Bust Quarter in my hand, I was hooked! Speaking of 1805, the below coin in the set is the "Look" that drives my desire to collect these early pieces of "Early Mint Art". Coins with good honest wear without problems that are over 200 years old are much tougher than you might think!!

I can only surmise the date area is slightly more protected due to being between the rim and the bust!? I guess "Luck of the draw" is responsible for what is a very small number remaining of undamaged, low grade coins that happen to have dates!
Amazing with the wear how strong the date is on these PO01 quarters
