I started collecting at the age of 9 in 1963. Then you could still find in your change Indian Head Cents, V-Nickels, Buffalo Nickels, Winged Liberty Dimes, Silver Roosevelt Dimes, Standing Liberty Quarters, Silver Washington Quarters, Walking Liberty Half Dollars, Franklin Half Dollars and if you were old enough, which I wasn't, you could get Morgan and Peace Dollars in Navada out of slots. I am a Life Member of The American Numismatic Association and the California State Numismatic Association
