About Me
About Me:
I started collecting coins as a teenager in Great Britain & became particularly fascinated by British Crown coins, partly because of there size & weight but mainly because of the history & events of the different eras behind them. King Henry VIII introduced the Crown coin in 1526 (crown of the double rose) as part of The Great Debasement to devalue the metal in coins because Henry VIII's overspending, so nothing has changed there. I also collect Morgan dollars, an obvious link to the Crown coin.
