The 2019 Kennedy Half Dollars were officially released by the U.S. Mint on May 1, 2019. The Mint did not issue the half dollars for circulation in 2019 and only sold them to the public. Read more here.

PCGS Set Registry Update

The beauty of nature surrounds us in our lives and at times shows up on the coins that we collect. Take, for example, the holographic or "prizma" coin technology featured above from the country of Togo. Each coin in the following set titled Togo Prismatic Wildlife Set 100 Francs, Proof (2010-2011) had a mintage of 2,500 pieces. The obverse exhibits elegant contrast from the fields and relief, which is pleasant to view with vibrant colors. The reverse relief, appearing in frosted cameo contrast, displays lions holding a bow and arrow; one flanked on the left and the other to the right side of the reverse. A phrase is also written in French, "Travail, Liberte, Patrie," which in English translates to "Work, Freedom, Fatherland"; the inscription is located above the country's flag.
