About This Set: This set has a few important type coins: the Lincoln Memorial, Roosevelt, and silver Kennedy. This set is an important marker in the history of our nation. It's the last year our money was worth more than a promise, and it came at a time our country was in turmoil, much like it is today.
"A time for greatness 1960" was campaign slogan used by JFK. His likeness replaced Ben Franklin's on the half-dollar the year after he was sadly assassinated. Those ignorant to history are doomed to repeat it.
