About This Set: "That the Cause of God has reached the point where it stands today is due to the self-sacrificing, constant, unsparing, truly herculean labours of its Guardian."
~ Ruhiyyih Khanum

Shoghi Effendi was the great-grandson of Bahá'u'lláh, the Founder of the Bahá’í Faith, and the Faith's Center toward which Bahá'ís turned for guidance after the passing of 'Abdu'l-Bahá in 1921. He is also chiefly responsible for raising up the administrative capacity of the Bahá'ís worldwide in order to conduct the first global, democratic elections for members of the Universal House of Justice.
