About This Set: This is an original 1891 Proof Set including the mint envelope. The set was in the original packaging from the United States Mint in Philadelphia. The envelope has a wax seal on the unopened end with the mint stamp and the remnants of another seal on the opened end. The set apparently belonged to Mr. R.H. Poole, Lake Forest, Illinois. The price of $2.50 is noted on the envelope. There are different toning spots on the coins that indicate the arrangement of the coins lying on each other in the package. Very Cool!
