The 1976 Mint set featured special bicentennial reverse designs on the Quarter, Half and Dollar along with double dated 1776-1976 obverses. San Francisco struck special collectors issues of the three bicentennial coins in 40% silver as well. Two varieties of the Eisenhower dollars struck in Philadelphia and Denver are known; the first with a low relief design and broad lettering, the other with a sharp design and more delicate lettering.
