Gold coinage was suspended during the war years from 1917 through 1919. That however doesn't stop this set from being one of the larger sets of the period. It includes no fewer than six Standing Liberty Quarters; three Type 1s and three Type 2s, and five Walking Liberty Halves, with the Denver and San Francisco issues featuring both the obverse and reverse placement of the mintmark. While none are major rarities, the '17-S Obverse Half will prove to be the toughest coin in this set.
