Letitia Kelley: Born 25 April Tennessee; married John H. Cochrane (1817-1859) (see above); died 30 December Cottage Grove, Lane, Oregon, United States of America.

Due to the sporadic nature of the mint's activities in the early years, many of the mints sets from this period are quite small. 1817 is among the smallest as no Half Cents, Half Dimes, Dimes, Quarters or Dollar coins were struck. For the copper and silver portion, only the Cent and Half Dollar were coined, and both are common dates for their respective series. Sets from this period don't get much easier. No gold coins were struck in 1817, so two coins totally complete the year.
