20th Century Gold Series, Circulation Strikes (1907-1933)

Four of the most popular and widely collected U.S. gold series were the last four issued before President Franklin Roosevelt outlawed gold ownership in 1933, the $2-1/2 Indian (1908-1929), $5 Indian (1908-1929), $10 Indian (1907-1933), and $20 St. Gaudens (1907-1933). These four sets include some of the most common U.S. gold coins and some of the very rarest such as the 1927-D Saint. Over the years, many collectors have specialized in one or more of these series. A few have put together sets of all four. The 20th Century Gold Series set comprises all four series. It is a beautiful and challenging set.
