About This Set: The coins of this set were chosen for their beautiful toning and crusty surfaces as well as their rarity. Many coins from the Dahlonega mint sufferred from poor planchets and defective dies. Add in heavy usage and low mintage results in very few high grade coins. All the coins in this collection grade AU50 or better, have good strikes, original color, and nice, crusty golden surfaces.
