About This Set: This type set was assembled over the past 7 years, with a focus on rarity and premium quality for the grade, with original surfaces. A number of the coins are pedigreed to well-known collections. This set contains additional types or varieties not recognized by the PCGS Registry set. For example: half cents and large cents are represented in both lettered and plain edge, and there are 7 design changes of Bust Half dollars represented. Other coins of note; a New Haven Fugio Cent in silver AU53, a rare 1842 PR64BN Large Cent from the Pittman Collection, three head designs of 1794 half cents per Breen, the Scot and Gardner 1794 large cent designs, a 1794 Half Dime in MS64, a 1794 half dollar in AU53, and a 1794 Dollar in VF35 from the Thomas Cleneay collection, a rare 1827 Half Eagle MS64 from the Michael Keston collection, and the finest known 1859 Half Eagle in PR63 from the Farouk, Norweb, Bass Collections.
