Mr. Lyons was not satisfied with the finest collection of mint state Three Cent Nickels. He also built a world class proof set. PCGS has certified no fewer than six coins in this collection PR68. These include the 1879, 1881, 1882, 1883, 1886, and 1888. All of these coins were finest known, with the 1888 claiming the distinction with no equals. Not to be outdone, the 1887/6 was tied for finest known at 67.
