The Mint's 1971 and 1972 Proof offerings were sold in two packages. The traditional five coin set, and the Eisenhower Dollar (sold separately and struck in Silver clad composition). Aside from the Dollar, none of the other coins is available in PR70DC, so a set of 69DC's will put you at the top of the Registry. Two varieties are found this year; a doubled-die cent and a "No S" Nickel. Although the Cent is scarcer, the Nickel is the more costly of the two, costing high three to low four figures. So far, only one Registry participant has managed to complete the set.
