Despite being in the midst of a Civil War, the nation managed to produce 460 Proof Silver issues for 1863. Consequently, this set contains no major rarities or difficult pieces. Of course, the Silver Dollar in high grade will run into the mid to upper five-figures, but remains somewhat affordable in mid-MS grades.
