The Basic Set of Proof Jefferson Nickels contains 73 coins, and except for a gap between 1943 and 1949 when no Proofs were struck, contains at least one example from each year. The Special Mint Set coins from 1965-67 are included in this set. Like most basic sets, rarity is a function of age, with the pre-1950 coins being the keys. Even so, none of the coins in this set are particularly difficult, and this is a set that can be completed with relative ease.
