About This Set: This set is alll about the strike and eye appeal. Every year buffalo nickels were produced, the strike was a little different each year. The grading services don’t recognize the strike on a buffalo and that is okay. It leaves it up to the collector to determine how the grade and strike measure up. The term “full strike” when used with buffalos is deceiving, I am not sure if there is such a thing as a full strike. A collector has to define the strike characteristics for each year buffalos were produced; what is the best possible strike is out there for that particular year.
