The 2022 Nina Otero Warren Business Strike Quarters were first released on August 15, 2022. The coins were released to the Federal Reserve and other distribution centers, so that these entities can distribute the coins into circulation. 

The 2022 Nina Otero Washington Quarter, is part of the America Women Quarter Dollar Program. The Program is set to last four years, and each of those years the U.S. Mint issued different Quarter designs. In 2022, it issued five different designs, with the Nina Otero Warren design being the fourth design for the year.
