This is the first time the U.S. Mint has issued an Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagle. The 2019-W Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagles were jointly offered with the Royal Canadian Mint as a two coin set, referred to as, “Pride of Two Nations.” Each set contains a 2019-W Enhanced Reverse Proof Silver Eagle and a $5 Silver Maple Leaf.

The coins officially went on sale on July 03, 2019. The U.S. Mint had a maximum offering of 100,000 sets, while the Royal Canadian Mint had a maximum offering of 10,000 sets. The U.S. Mint offered the sets at a price of $1395.95 for each set and the Canadian Mint offered them at a price of $189.95 in Canadian currency.
