The 2012-W Uncirculated Silver Eagle originally went on sale on May 28, 2013. This year the U.S. Mint also offered a regular Uncirculated Mint State Silver Eagle without a "W" mint mark and a Proof Silver Eagle. The coins were offered in different sets throughout the year and were very popular amongst collectors overall.
