The mintage for the 2013-D Kennedy Half Dollar is very low because the coins were not released into circulation. Instead, the Mint only sold the coins to the collectors and the public for a premium. Since most examples did not circulate most examples should be un uncirculated condition. Examples up to MS67 are common but anything grading higher is considered scarce.
