 The 2012-W Proof infantry Silver Dollar was struck to honor the Infantry of the United States.

Obverse: The obverse shows an Infantry soldier on top of a rock giving orders to other soldiers to follow his lead, this symbolizes the ‘Follow Me” motto of the Infantry. The obverse has the inscriptions “Liberty, In God We Trust, 2012 W.”

Reverse: The reverse design features two crossed rifles insignia, which is the insignia for the Infantry. The reverse has the incriptions, United States of America, One Dollar, E Pluribus Unum.”
