The 2012-P Acadia Quarters were the third desings issued in the 2012 America the Beautiful Quarters Program.

Obverse: The obverse has the same George Washington motiff used on Washington Quarters from 1932 to date.

Reverse: The reverse of the coin shows the Bass Harbor Head Lighthouse along the Atlantic coastline. it has the inscriptions, "Acadia, Maine, 2012 and E Pluribus Unum.

Issue Date: Circulation strike quarters were officllay released on June 11, 2012.
