The 2012-D Hawaii Volcanoes Quarter is the fourth design issued in the America the Beautiful Quarters Program for the year 2012.

Obverse: The obverse has the same George Washington motif used since 1999.

Reverse: The reverse has an image of the Kilauea Volcano with an erruption taking place. The inscriptions idicate, Hawai's Volcanoes, Hawaii, 2012 and E Pluribus Unum.

Issue Date: August 29, 2012

Roll Issue Price: 2-Coin Rolls were being sold as a set. Each roll contained 40 coins from the Philadelphia Mint while the second roll contained 40 coins from the Denver Mint. The rolls had an issue price of $32.95 for the set off 2 rolls.

Bag Issue Price: The Mint also sold the coins in Mint sealed bags. Each bag contained 100 coins each and the buyer had the choice of buying bags with coins from the Philadephia, Denver or San Francisco Mint.
