The Gettysburg Quarter design is the first to be issued in 2011 for the America the Beautiful Quarter Program. 

Obverse: The obverse features the same George Washington design that was introduced in 1999. 

Reverse: The reverse of the coin features the 72nd Pennsylvania Infantry Monument. The reverse also has the inscriptions, "Gettysburg Pennsylvania 2011" and "E Pluribus Unum".
