The 2010-P Yosemite National Park Quarters were released into circulation and offered by the U.S Mint on July 26, 2010. This is the third quarter released from the "America the Beautiful" Quarters Program.
Obverse: The obverse of the coin depicts the same George Washington motif used on all Washington Quarters from 1999 to Date.
Reverse: The reverse depicts El Capitan stone. This is the largest single stone of granite in the world and it is over 3,000 feet high.
Product Options: The Mint offered the Yellowstone National Park Quarters in rolls and bags. The rolls were sold as a two-piece set which consisted of 40 coins in each roll. Each set of rolls has a roll from the Philadelphia and Denver Mint. The price of the two-piece roll set was priced at $32.95 each.
Each bag sold by the U.S. Mint contained $25 worth of quarters or 100 coins in each bag. The price of each 100-coin bag was set at $35.95 each.
Program Overview: The National Park Quarters Program began in 2010. It will honor a total of 56 National Parks and National Sites throughout the United States and the U.S. Territories. Five different reverse designs will be released each year in the order in which the site was established as a historic national site.
