The 2007 Uncirculated Gold Eagle is one of the lowest mintages in the $5 Uncirculated Gold Eagle series. Therefore, this date is considered a key date for the series. However, prices don't seem to be affected as this date still sells for a small premium over the spot price of gold. Most examples of this date were well struck ranging from about MS68 -MS69 condition. Perfect MS70 examples were much more difficult to locate.
